- Towards curricular development the department adopted four students from SYBCom for a non credit course in Stock Market Operations. The students are provided theory inputs and project work. These students will be evaluated by invited faculty and will be awarded certificates as per their acquired competence levels.

Dr. Rangasai |
Dr CVS Ranga Sai is Associate Professor and the Head of the Business Economics Department at Vaze College, Mumbai. He is teaching under graduate and post-graduate students for the past 32 years. He guides students for MPhil and PhD (AM). In addition to his specialization in Economics, he has worked in the areas of Educational Policy Research. Dr Ranga Sai consults several corporate bodies on policy issues.
He is a trained Assessor of NAAC (UGC). He is drawn as Peer Team member for various Colleges all over India. Dr Ranga Sai is trained in ISO 9000 certification for Educational Institutions.
He was formerly a Member of College Development Council and Board of Studies at University of Mumbai.
He has published and presented several papers at National and International forums. He authored a book titled 'Quality Education- NAAC Perspective'. He conducted over hundred workshops on Accreditation at various colleges in Maharashtra. He has eleven e-books published at www.rangasai.com, dealing with Economics curriculum at Mumbai University.
He has worked as NSS programme officer for over 15 years and received Best NSS Officer Award from University of Mumbai.
Under continuing education, Dr Ranga Sai, studied MD Alternative Medicine and also received PhD in Mind Body Management. He is registered for medical practice, (Regd. No. B10562), in Mind body medicine with Indian Board of Alternative Medicines. He is a trained Psychological Counselor with formal qualification from University of Mumbai.
He has traveled widely, photo-documenting Buddhist architecture. This passion is a confluence of religion, architecture and photography.
Over the years, he specialized in Buddhist Heritage Photography. He has documented Buddhist architecture, from Western and Central India, Cambodia, and Sri lanka. A photo exhibition on Angkorian architecture was conducted in 2010.
In the field of heritage architecture he has photo documented few Egyptian, Indo-afghan, Bahami, monuments.
His wife Rama Devi specializes in teaching special children. Son, Sai Suman works for Google at Switzerland, daughter Shehna is a clinical psychologist.
