Anil Naik qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1986 , and started teaching in Degree College of V.G.Vaze College from 1987.

He has taught accountancy , Audit, Taxation for various levels First Year, Second Year and Third Year B.Com

Anil Naik is also counsellor for the subject of Accountancy for Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU).He has taught subject of "Business Process Engineering" for the Third Year students of B.Com- Accounting & Finance. Anil naik has delivered lectures on Service Tax, Income Tax, Wealth Tax, Budget, Investment Planning at various seminars conducted by Rotary Club, Canara Bank, Study Circles of C.A.

In addition to teaching Anil Naik has been convener for Extra-Curricular Programmes of Vazec College, and has been in various committees mainly Planning Forum, Unfair Means Committee , Attendance Committee, Canteen Committee, Seminar Committee, Staff Room Secretary. He has also worked as convener of one National level Workshop organized by Vaze College jointly with Mumbai University and UGC>

Anil Naik as Chartered Accountant has his own firm of Chartered Accountants under the name "ANIL NAIK & ASSOCIATES". The firm has about 26 employees including one C.A. and about ten C.A. Trainees. The firm caters to corporate as well as non-corporate clients. Anil Naik is also partner in two other C.A.firms, "KULKARNI & NAIK" and "AMG & Co.". Anil naik has trained more than 60 C.A. traineesin last two decades.
