BIO DATA OF SHRIYA NITIN VIDWANS
SHRIYA N.VIDWANS a gold medallist started her career in Athletics Track and field events in the year 2001. She was a student
of S.E.S High School and Junior College, Thane & is presently studying in V.G.Vaze College in SYJC Commerce. She has represented
Maharashtra many times and has also won many titles. She started her winning terms in inter-school events & open athletic championships
and thus got selected many times for the National games.
Shriya trains under the guidance of Mr. AJIT KULKARNI(N.I.S Coach), Director AIM SPORTS CLUB.
But this achievemnet is not possible without the assistance & co-operation from Sponsors like you. In shaping this talented athlete to achieve National and International recognition
we hope your co-operation to the maximum extent. Shriya's family is supporting her to the maximum. But to achieve International arena this is not sufficient.
SHRIYA'S ACHIEVEMENTS IN BRIEF:
Till date she has won 40 Gold, 31 Silver, and 45 Bronze medals at various competitions.
NATIONAL LEVEL:
18th Inter Zonal Athletic championship
at Allahabad, Oct 2006 -
Gold Medal in 100mts, 200mts and Silver medal in 4*100 mts relay.

3rd Youth championships at Warangal, Oct 2006 -
Gold medal in 200mts and Bronze medal in 100mts.

52nd School Games at Mumbai, Dec 2006 -
Silver medal in 4*100mts relay.
Shriya captained the Maharashtra girls team for this meet.

51st School Games at Pune, Jan 2006 -
Silver medal in 4*100 mts relay.
She also created a new State record in the 400 mts by clocking 57.38 secs.

Shriya is selected for the preparatory India camp for the Youth Commonwealth Games to be held in Pune in 2008.
The 4th National Youth Championships at Bangalore 1st and 2nd June 2007 -
Silver Medal in 200mts and 4*100mts relay.

Shriya is the only athlete from Maharashtra selected for the forthcoming World Youth Championships
which are to be held at Osttrava, Czech Republic in July 2007.

STATE LEVEL:
The selection trials for the Youth National Games at Pune, May 2007 -
Gold medal in 200mts and 400 mts.
She is selected for the Youth National Games to be held in Bangalore.
The 52nd School Games at Pune, Dec 2006 -
gold medal in 100 mts and 200 mts
Silver medal in 400mts and Bronze medal in 4*400 mts relay.
TARGETS:
To be an Olympic Champion and to achieve medals at the International level.
To achieve medal at Youth Commonwealth Games 2008.
As the World Youth Games and the Youth Commonwealth Games are scheduled in 2007, 2008 , she needs
to practice abroad to enable her to match International Standards.
The expenses required can be classifies as follows:
- Proper Diet to keep her fit and healthy
- Medical expenses
- Kit for training (tracksuits, shoes, spikes etcc)
- Travelling, Lodging, Boarding and Miscellaneous expenses during training and competitions.
- Yearly fitness training expenses in India and abroard.
