Infrastructure

Based on inputs from ISIPCA, we have set up the state-of-the-art Labs-Instrumentation, Perfumery, Personal Care Cosmetics, Colour Cosmetics , Computer Lab and Library. This will enable us to take up Development and Testing of cosmetic products as well as Certification for the industry. Testing and Certification have assumed great significance in view of the stringent guidelines being issued by the Ministry of Health and FDA from time to time relating to Cosmetics and Personal Care products. Need based short term and part-time courses in specified areas will also be started.

The infrastructure requirements of the programme are being set up in the lines of the French Institution.

1.Library: The college intends to provide a full-fledged and exclusive library covering a wide range of books and journals on all the technical, theoretical and managerial aspects of perfumery and cosmetics industry. The library will also provide selected access to the worldwide web for specific literature search relevant to the course.

2. Computing Facilities General computing facilities will be made available to the students wherein they can access the Internet fir general searches to facilitate their project work and also avail of the MS Office software for their daily assignments, tutorials and presentations. The centre will be used for production of teaching-learning materials, as well as for student and teacher evaluation online.

3. Laboratories There are air-conditioned state-of-the-art Laboratories such as Cosmetic Lab for Make-up, Cosmetic Lab for Cream, Emulsions and Shampoos,Perfume Lab, Instrumentation and Computer.All the laboratories are fully equipped with necessary fittings, materials and instruments.
